Activity : Life Savers Initiative – Basic Life Support & Emergency Response Training
World Humanitarian Day is observed every year on 19 August to recognise humanitarian efforts and encourage individuals to contribute towards saving lives, protecting health and supporting communities during emergencies.
To commemorate World Humanitarian Day 2026, a practical awareness and training programme titled “Life Savers Initiative – Basic Life Support & Emergency Response Training” was conducted for non-medical staff and participants.
The primary objective was to empower non-medical personnel with basic knowledge and practical skills that can be used during a medical emergency, especially during the critical period before professional medical help arrives.
The programme was attended by 40 non-medical staff and other participants from the institution. The interactive format encouraged participants to ask questions and engage with the practical demonstration.
